Description

We define what it means to shteig like a girl: with rigor, with joy, with curiosity that is constantly renewed, and with integrity and respect for the texts, for ourselves, and for others. To shteig like a girl is a compliment, an aspiration, an admirable goal. The Yiddish word “shteig” means to rise, and that’s what we do in our learning.

Much like Gemara, this sweatshirt is not only for girls. Supporting our talmidot from their youth as they ascend to the highest levels of Torah learning takes everyone’s care and commitment: a wide variety of sizes accommodate all ages and genders in sharing the message that shteiging like a girl is a serious, worthwhile pursuit.
